As Your Postnatal Doula:

My support will be customised to you and can include:

• Taking care of the baby – while you shower, rest, or sleep. Feeding, changing, holding, bathing or soothing the baby.

• Preparing light snacks for you, ensuring you are nourished and hydrated, by taking care of you. You are then better able to care for the baby better. A new mum 'can't pour from an empty cup'.

• A Feeding support visit within the 1st 24 hours post birth, then again as needed during the 1st 2 weeks.

• Light household help, such as tidying up, dusting. Putting on a wash, loading dishwasher, preparing light snacks or drinks for you

• Attend Postnatal appointments, or help with outings, or I can take baby out for a walk, taking care of the baby, as needed. 

• Unlimited WhatsApp and Telephone Support for duration of hire.

• Providing Emotional and practical support for you and the family.

• Light household help, such as tidying up, light dusting, loading the washing machine and Dish washer, or preparing light snacks or drinks for you

• Provide Evidenced based information and resources on postnatal care for both you and the baby - on anything from parenting, feeding the baby, newborn care, health and wellbeing, and any other relevant baby care/parenting topics.

• Referrals to other health and wellbeing Professionals or services, if needed and requested.

• On-call support available for 1st 5 weeks (Lets chat to discuss your support needs further).

• I can provide feeding support with a visit within 24 hours of birth for initial assistance and reassurance, followed by another visit again on day 3 or 4 during the first week.
